Golf Course in the Buffalo, NY area

Other public golf courses in the area simply can’t compare to Greenwood Golf Course. Greenwood is a 3,238-yard, nine-hole golf course set in the backdrop of the Town of Clarence. Men’s Par is 36 and Ladies’ Par is 40. There’s a mix of five Par 4s, two Par 5s and two Par 3s for men, and six Par 5s, one Par 4 and two Par 3s for ladies.  So if you are in the Buffalo and Lockport, NY area, come join us at Greenwood Golf Course for a great day of fun and enjoyment!

We also have a practice green for putting and chipping—skilled golfers usually want to warm up before hitting the first tee.

Our Public Golf Course Rules

We’re not sticklers for rules — there are enough public golf courses like that in the region. However, we do follow United States Golf Association (USGA) general rules, and we have some guidelines:
  • Please replace your divots.
  • USGA rules govern all play, except as modified local rules posted in our clubhouse.
  • Players finishing the first nine holes have the right-of-way on No. 1 tee if playing a second round.
  • All groups are to play as a foursome, if possible.
  • Play winter rules. Nudge your ball with the club head only to improve your lie.
  • Play back of all tee markers.
  • And as always, slower players must allow faster players to play through.
